Here to encourage you on your own bold pursuit of intentional living as I live out my own. I’m passionate about running, spending time doing what I love and cheering others on to approach running with joy.
Honestly, it’s hard to pick only ten because Dallas is not playing around when it comes to brunch haha! You can find the biggest and the best here and most places with a great brunch are packed on weekend mornings. I like eating all different types of foods in all different atmospheres; I hope this list reflects that. I've been thinking of putting together neighborhood guides, too, so please let me know if you have an interest in that!
I forget how much I love Kozy every time I go! Whether you want healthy or indulgent, Kozy has got you. I highly recommend their salads, especially their Brussel sprout one. They have seating inside and out, including a fun swinging table.
The Rustic is jam-packed on a day with nice weather because it’s huge and a very fun, Southern atmosphere. They have a large, outdoor seating area along with a ton of seating inside. They have plenty of concerts at night that pack the place, but their brunch alone keeps it crowded on weekends. Get the Jam + Toast brunch so you can try a bit of everything!
New to the Harwood District, Te Deseo is one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to all year! Its Latin American cuisine is BOMB. From the chips and guac to empanadas to huge french toast, I cannot recommend this place enough.
Looking for a slice of Paris in Dallas? Mercat Bistro is your place! I can’t get enough of croque madames, so naturally I am a big fan of those, but a big ol’ plate of pastries can do no harm either!
I feel like I haven’t heard as much hype about this place as I thought I would. San Martin is Guatemalan, but I clearly did not go that route haha. They have a HUGE menu, which makes sense for the massive space. Make sure to stop by the bakery area before leaving to pick up freshly baked Guatemalan goods. The Nutella latte is also worth getting ;)
I think I almost crashed my car the first time I drove by here haha! It has the cutest patio with green and white striped seating and twinkle lights. They have my favorite burger and fries lol but their brunch is also fantastic!
So casual, so cute, I love it. If you want to grab some of the absolute best pastries in town, come here. You order at the counter (they have a few tables to sit at!) so it’s a bit different than most others on this list, but I couldn’t let this list go up without a mention of here. Their chocolate almond croissant is to die for!
Classic Dallas spot. I’ve been coming to Oddfellows since my SMU days and will always love it! Located in Bishop Arts, they have a nice-sized patio and indoor seating with rustic vibes. Without fail, I always order their chicken and waffles. For some reason I cannot find any of my photos here, but I promise it is cute and delicious haha!
Any Instagram followers of mine reading this will be very familiar with this spot. I love coming here to work during the week and lucky for me, they have their breakfast menu during the week, too! The elote avocado toast is something worth dreaming about.
I looooove Stirr! It’s a fun Deep Ellum spot and everything I’ve ever had here is fantastic. From the savory items of breakfast burritos and hashes to sweet items like cinnamon rolls the size of your head, there’s no wrong move to make.
Another spot with breakfast during the week, I freakin’ adore Sassetta. It’s both chic and cheery, and has some great dishes. It’s in the Design District (a cute to-go coffee shop is attached!) and has a seasonal menu that I swear gets better each time I come. It’s Italian, so I recommend going with one of their pizzas! Other favorites include Commissary, Yolk, Snooze, Serve
Save for later:
