My Three Favorite Clean Vitamin C Serums

October 28, 2021

HI! I’m Molly.

Here to encourage you on your own bold pursuit of intentional living as I live out my own. I’m passionate about running, spending time doing what I love and cheering others on to approach running with joy.

I’ve been meaning to do this post for awhile now and am excited to share my three favorite clean Vitamin C serums with you all!

I swear by a good Vitamin C serum. I’ve had one in my skincare routine for years now and can’t imagine not having one. It always goes on after you’ve washed your face and used toner, but before your lotion! Vitamin C serum is great for a lot of different reasons, but specifically for:

  • Preventing wrinkles
  • Fading dark spots
  • Protecting your skin against outside barriers

It does so much more than this, but since I don’t have any type of background in skincare, I’ll let you read more about the benefits of how Vitamin C serum benefits the skin!

I love trying new products and luckily, my skin doesn’t break out too often. However, I do notice a difference in how my skin glows with various Vitamin C serums and how soft they make my skin. I’ve used so many throughout the years and wanted to share my three favorite clean Vitamin C serums. These are the ones I keep coming back to!

Biossance

I love this one for a lot of reasons: it has zero fragrance, it doesn’t take long at all to absorb into my skin and the texture feels great - not too thin, but not too thick either. If your skin is sensitive to any type of fragrance, I definitely recommend this one! This one is probably my favorite out of the three.

Beautycounter

This one comes in the cutest little bottle haha! It is a bit more thin, comes out in a bright yellow shade because of the two forms of Vitamin C that it combines - camu camu and turmeric - and has a really refreshing, citrusy- smell. If you’re new to using a Vitamin C serum, I think this is a great starter Vitamin C serum.

Cocokind

This serum is so lightweight and absorbs literally so fast! It’s also unscented and they have a few key ingredients that are especially great for your skin. I will say I’ve probably seen the smallest difference with this product, however, for the price point, it’s hard to beat! I’d recommend this serum to anyone who is looking for a serum but doesn’t want to break the bank on one.

I hope you find this helpful! And if you’re new to skincare or new to clean beauty, I recommend you check out this post about what clean beauty is and what ingredients to look out for.
